Unique Metallic Thread for All Needle Arts! A strong, smooth, kink resistant Metallic thread. It is comparable to size 20 cotton thread. Each ball is approximately 25 gm,155 yds. This thread comes in 18 different colors, each sold separately.
Because this is metallic and not a natural fiber, there may be variance in size from color to color as well as difference in color from dye lot to dye lot.
Recommended hook/needles: Steel crochet hooks size 9-10 (1.15-1.25 mm) Tatting needle size 5-0 or 7-fine. Knitting needle 0000 (1.25 mm).
Care: Thread is hand washable in cool water or machine wash cool on gentle cycle. Do not bleach. May tumble dry on low setting. If ironing a finished piece, do not iron directly on thread; use a cloth over it and do not use steam setting on the iron. The metallic is dyed so it could bleed a little on the first wash.
